Tendril announced on July 29 that its new product was available to the market. Called the Tendril Residential Energy Ecosystem (TREE), the new system focuses on consumers by providing a true Residential Energy Management System (REMS) to support smart energy appliances and smart meters in the home.
The system consists of hardware and software and when used conjointly with advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), TREE will enable two-way communications between energy consumers and their providers for the first time ever.
