Countdown to DistribuTECH!

We are gearing up for our biggest DistribuTECH ever – with three of us from Tendril participating in speaking sessions, a fantastic new booth space with OnStar exhibiting alongside us in Booth #1329.

Using a Chevrolet Volt, we will provide attendees with a look at how our technology platform enables vehicle-to-home integration, simplifying energy management and implications for future connected home applications. OnStar will also be demonstrating intelligent energy management solutions for electric vehicles. Stop by our booth when you get a chance to check it out.

Members of our team will lead discussions on consumer engagement, standards and demand response. Highlights of the sessions include:

Sandra Baule, Product Manager with San Diego Gas & Electric, will join me in a session titled, “Consumer Engagement Methods for Successful Deployment of Home Area Networks,” to discuss lessons learned and best practices as we share our perspectives on what it takes to win over consumers.

David Mollerstuen, Senior Product Manager here at Tendril, will join Robby Simpson, System Architect at GE Energy, to lead a session titled, “The New Paradigm of Smart Grid Standards Development,” which will provide attendees with an understanding of NIST oversight and new and accelerated Standards Development paradigms.

Our VP of Business Development, Tony Bamonti, and Shelley Moister, Product Manager with Landis+Gyr, will speak on “Leveraging Existing AMR Assets for HAN-enabled Demand Response.” Tony and Shelley will talk about ways in which energy providers can develop Home Area Network-enabled smart energy programs, while protecting and leveraging the investments they have made in AMR meters and network systems.

Now in its 21st year, DistribuTECH promises to be a world-class event, filled with great people, a wealth of useful information, and a few surprises as well. What are you looking forward to seeing at DistribuTECH?
