It’s Going off at DistribuTECH

DistribuTECH is finally underway. We had a large crowd at the booth even before the show floor opened to help us officially unveil Tendril Energize™, our industry’s first application suite based on proven behavioral science techniques. It provides utilities with simple, easy-to-use tools that deliver increased, persistent consumer engagement in home energy performance. It’s already getting some great buzz.

This comes on the heels of our earlier announcement that we are teaming with Whirlpool to usher in a new era of smart appliances. Whirlpool Corporation will integrate its smart appliances with the Smart Grid infrastructure by extending our open standards-based, scalable and secure technology platform—Tendril Connect™. This integrated platform will enable a dialogue between appliances, consumers and energy providers —making the connected home and home energy management a reality. We’ll be showing off all these capabilities with Whirlpool smart appliances at our booth during DistribuTECH.
