Tendril Platform Gains New Consumer Engagement System

I am excited to announce that Tendril has purchased Massachusetts-based GroundedPower, creator of the Interactive Customer Engagement System (iCES) for consumer-driven energy management and efficiency. This acquisition will augment Tendril’s existing end-to-end energy management and consumer engagement solution with a new behavioral-based Energy Efficiency product that will expand our reach into the public power market.

Our extensive research into consumer engagement software showed GroundedPower to be the industry best in breed for their third-party validated, proven methodology to achieve behavioral-driven Energy Efficiency. This acquisition represents a critical step for Tendril as we continue to broaden the capabilities and reach of our platform.

We believe that they key to continued growth of the Smart Grid is an engaged and satisfied customer. Promoting energy behavioral change among customers as well as offering automated control and transactions down the line will enhance the customer experience and help consumers understand how Demand Response programs will increase their Energy Efficiency
