World Economic Forum Selects Tendril as 2011 Technology Pioneer

September 8, 2010

I am thrilled to announce that Tendril has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as one of the world’s most innovative technology start-ups. Tendril joins an elite group that are part of the Forum’s Technology Pioneers Community, specifically 31 companies from around the world that develop and apply the most transformational technologies.

Tendril was selected for the development of the Tendril platform that helps utilities and consumers manage their energy usage, save money and help reduce the negative environmental impacts of energy production and use. View a video of my thoughts on how the energy revolution will impact our world for the better and Tendril’s role in advancing the industry here.

This is a huge honor, and puts us in the humbling and exciting role of contributing to the mission of the Forum to improve the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas.  We look forward to putting Tendril’s belief in the power of technology to bring about profound change for the greater good into action on a world scale.
