Tendril Energized With $30M

Tendril on Tuesday said it picked up a $30 million third round of funding to boost its so-called smart grid business.

The Boulder, Colorado, company uses hardware components and software to help people monitor their home energy usage. Tendril is developing open standards technology that aims to help utility companies and consumers link various energy-monitoring devices.
