For energy providers, customers and ecosystem partners, a connected home is a key element in taking advantage of tomorrow’s smart energy solutions. Tendril’s hardware device interoperability testing program evaluates functionality between the Tendril Connect™ platform and partner products.
Working closely with Tendril—sometimes on site—your interoperability testing engineer will gain valuable knowledge about the integration tests. And to help accelerate integration, Tendril will provide your engineer with hardware and test tools for recreating the same integration tests in your own labs. At the end of the program, you’ll receive a detailed report that explains the purpose of each test and its accompanying results. And if any compatibility issues arise during testing, Tendril will provide recommendations to assist with integration.
Through its program, Tendril has already successfully tested many devices—including display devices, electric vehicle charging stations, load control switches, smart appliances (such as washers, dryers and refrigerators), smart plugs and thermostats—from all classes.
