Turnkey Home Area Network (HAN) Applications and Devices

Within the home, customers can track energy costs and consumption by appliances, electronics, and household devices. Consumers and utilities can now work together to bring energy into balance. Tendril Connect links a set of applications and devices that together form a reliable and secure ZigBee® enabled Home Area Network (HAN). These devices interface beyond the meter with existing home appliances to provide access and information about energy usage in the home as well as insight into the applications deployed on the platform, including Energy Efficiency, Load Control, and Demand Response applications. The devices include: the Tendril Insight in-home display, Tendril Set Point smart thermostat, Tendril Translate gateway, and the Tendril Load Control Switch. The information captured and displayed by the Tendril in-home products are accessed over the Internet or smart mobile devices using the Tendril Energize™ application suite.
